Directed seed oats, no companion crop. Droughty conditions. Farmer has cut and baled some already as feed for beef cows. Would like to cut and bale this field too. Is this loose smut and if it safe to feed to his beef cows?

Leaf burn on winter wheat from 2,4-D and 28%. Coop agronomist says they were putting on about 20 gallons of 28%(around 40 pounds of N) with an additional 10 gallons of water to reduce the leaf burn. Armyworm damage in winter wheat

Armyworm damage in winter wheat is evident on 7/1/01. Leaf ragging and head clipping. Thresholds are below 3 per square foot at this point. As per our phone conversation, we’re recommending Warrior over Sevin given the potential for several generations. Wheat harvest will be close to the end of July. Additional comments welcome.
