I had someone email a picture of some oak leaves with what I think might be scale insects of some sort.  Just wondering on further insight as to what they might be.

Is it a bee or wasp?

Please id if this is a bee or wasp.  Man finds about one per week inside house. He thought it was a winged ant but it stung him.  Sent them the social wasps and bees publication.  Is it a small carpenter bee?

Issue with Spruce Tree

Insect? looks like small white cotton balls about the size of the tip of a stick pin. Die back is working from out tip of branch to inner. There are three trees affected.
